Architectural Design, Sketches, Layout Process

Ten sketches depicting the sequential steps to be followed for laying the house cluster using the patterns developed with the families: 1) Cluster Gate & Degree of Publicness –defines the common land as the heart of the project; 2) Choice of Individual Lots –to be decided by the families; 3) Lot Subdivision –depicts the lots as laid out by the families; 4, 5, & 6) Placing of Houses in Individual Lots –depict three attempts of shaping house volume and garden within each lot, with dubious results, the last being the most promising; 7 & 8) Common Land Shape by Houses –successful common land layout for another case; 9) Placing House in Individual Lots –the final house cluster layout; 10) Details of Common Land –depicting items/patterns chosen for completing the common land layout.
