Building Process Area of Emphasis: Building Process Studies – Atelier

Fall 1994

The design studio named “Atelier” placed emphasis on preparing students to go into the professional world with a reasonable expectation of being able to make living buildings, in the real world, and to succeed in this. Class discussion of student work focused on process, not only content, and on the issues needed to allow a living architecture to be created. Students were required to do something real, where they could show real results. .
