The question addressed is whether any of the techniques proposed in the last decade can solve the problem of creating an organic environment –deemed impossible, or go back to a universal -traditional- language and considering that tradition is impossible in modern society, how to become more explicit in providing an organic environment for the full 100% of its building volume. The topic of volume is introduced, and the idea that pattern languages could only be successful if shared and used by all members of the society.
