98-page Master of Architecture thesis describing the development of the area of Harlem from its beginnings to the date, and presenting the key design features of the ‘Prototype Building’ and how they were conceived. The thesis is organized in two parts: Part One – Design of the Infill Building Prototype and Part Two – Site Context and Building Types in Harlem. Note by the student attached to the thesis says: “1/19/89 Dear Chris, Thank you very much! I’d like to speak w/ you – R” .
