Photographs of two sketches by Christopher Alexander. He establishes in a simple and straightforward way the entire top of the ridge as a large whole, by introducing the cup-shaped plan of the Library opposite from the Judo Hall; the relationship between these two centers, energized by the cup-shape of the Library give structure to the College precinct.
