C.E.S. Office – Martinez House: Experimental gunnite all-concrete building – Photographs
01/01/1981Nineteen photographs depicting the construction of the 1st stage formwork for the vertical elements of the building, namely the formwork for: a) the outer surface of the six outer corner columns of the building volumes, b) the two short wall forming the two inner corners of the building volumes, and c) the two shear walls in the south facing wall located at the change of levels of the building volumes slabs. This articulation of the formwork is responsible for the ornamental sprayed concrete layers in the vertical elements of the exterior walls. The photos provide overall views, as well as views of the formwork details.
