Symposium titled “Good Building”

Christopher Alexander talked about his research on the concept of living structure and that there is a specific and definable sructure that appears in the environment when a building is good and supports life. He referred to the “mirror of the self” test and the personal self as means to identify what is good and what not, and as a way to assessing results when making something. He illuminated his points and observations by using various examples from C.E.S. projects with reference to specific relevant details.
