Building Process Area of Emphasis: Intergrated Design Studio – Various projects on different scales & Furniture Making
Fall 1991Design studio to lay the foundation for a single integrated view of design, building and planning, which extended from the smallest parts of the building fabric to the largest parts of cities. The studio consisted of several projects from a small piece of furniture to a large urban area, or neighbohood.
Within the Integrated Design studio, students were encouraged to untertake the design and fabrication of individual furniture pieces in the carpentry shop of the department.
