Building Process Area of Emphasis: Professional Apprenticeship – High Density Housing and Pedestrian Villages

Spring 1992

Design studio for advanced students to enable them to work on real project situations, in which design, construction, work with users, and implementation were integrated. Students were asked to take responsibility for assignments connected to real projects. The studio work focused on the Amazon housing project, a village of 340 units of high density housing for the University of Oregon. Part of it was built on Agate street.
