Building Process Area of Emphasis: Seminar on City Building

Spring 1993

The topic of the seminar was the development of models for the formation of larger urban wholes. Its aim was to prepare students for the difficulties and problems they would encounter in the implementation of large-scale urban projects. The emphasis was on processes and procedures to be implemented, human organization, problems of control, and money. The course explored a number of case studies to make these points more explicit.
