Building Process Area of Emphasis: Thesis Preparation Seminar – The Quality of Architecture

The seminar was intended for graduate students interested in the topic of quality in architecture and buildings. The topic selected by each student varied, from the study of ornaments to the study of city structure and buildings. The purpose of the course was to prepare students for their thesis work in the spring quarter. It included the selection of a theoretical thesis topic or a design project, the formulation of a coherent structure for the final document, a schedule forcompleting it on time, and the preparation of a formal thesis submission.
