Herman Miller New Office Furniture System: Rolling file cabinet

1988
Work of Art for Project, Office Furniture Prototype
A moveable personal filing cabinet, which is low enough to fit under most tables and quite small you hardly notice it in your way, but always near you when you want it. It comes with a filing box in the upper portion of the cabinet, which has a hinged top made of clear transparent acrylic, so that a person can survey their files at a glance. The lower portion of the cabinet is fitted with shallow drawers. Functioning prototype was included in the 12 feet by 18 feet office interiors for one person, constructed by C.E.S.
