A proposal to write a “book on Christopher Alexander’s extraordinary work and approach”, providing an informative summary of written and constructed works by the Center for Environmental Structure, as well as articles written about him. Includes a brief discussion of the essence of “A Pattern Language” and proposes to follow a project that is about to begin in Marin County as a core, a center piece for the book based on the concept of the pattern “Things from Your Life”
