01/01/1971Seven drawings through which the concept of “piecemeal growth” is being illustrated in comparison to the “large lump development” approach: The first sketch depicts the existing conditions regarding the School of Education and the surrounding area. The following three sketches illustrate three steps of a large lump development approach and how this finally wipes out the existing school. the last three sketches illustrate the piecemeal steps of development taken and which can support, maintain and repair the places which are working well, and which, over the years have acquired life supporting qualities.
