Berryessa House: Foundation perimeter beam, slab and retaining walls formwork – Photographs
01/09/1981Ten images from the construction process of the foundation formwork reaching completion. As earth and stones were being used for fill-in material to be compacted, design decisions were made for the precise spacing of the wooden load bearing columns, for providing their tube pile foundations. Concurrently, the location of kitchen and bathroom sinks and tubs was finalized, necessary for establishing the water and sewer embedded pipe lines. .
