Reconstruction of an Urban Neighborhood: Photographs of project model
01/01/1996Two views of one of the styrofoam models, made for assessing the kind of density that would make a livable and pleasant neighborhood. In this model the FAR used was 0.54 –about 22 dwellings per acre– the highest tried while maintaining a good environment. Buildings at the right height and distance, trees and cars, give a pretty accurate view of street width, garden size and the overall quality of the place.
