The gymnasium finished in black shikkui and the pedestrian path along the arcades of the homebase classrooms, as viewed across the lake. In the distance, the top of the Central Building roof.
The photo was exhibited during the 10th Annual Louis Kahn Memorial Lecture in 1992, where Christopher Alexander was invited to give a lecture, as well as at the Fitzwilliam Museum Photograph Exhibition “Forms Which do not Frighten but Invite”.
