Upham House: Photographs of mock-ups
01/01/1991Four photographs showing Christopher Alexander with two of his colleagues, discussing with the client in a real size mock-up setting built with studs, plywood sheets and cardboard on the concrete slab of the house, simulating the area where the living room was to be located. The purpose of the mock-up was to check and decide with the client dimensions, location of room edges, location of the fireplace, the feel and character of the room, and many more arrangements and details.
