The University of Missouri master plan, for the use of the Chancellor’s office, was based of a project specific pattern language. It included 55 patterns –called policies in this case– for buildings and open spaces, and 36 additional patterns for interior design, construction, openings, decoration of buildings, which together, were intended to guide all future physical development of the University of Missouri.
