Redevelopment of Cottbus City
1996 to 1997Project in the old city of Cottbus, which intended to include two places, the Altmarkt and the Spremberger Strasse –the old market and a street. The proposal was to develop a pattern language of the project and to adopt a process of development which would enable the participation of the inhabitants of the area and the City of Cottbus in decision making. Within the first two years the first building elements were to be designed and built, and the additional new works to be identified. The project commenced with the Spremberger Strasse and ended at the concept design phase.
