Tourist Development for Malaga
1974The project intent was to solve the deterioration of the Spanish tourist areas. The proposal was to untertake a combined program of research, development and construction, which would create a workable model for the repair of those Spanish coasts badly affected by tourist development. The project had three main components: a) to develop a planning and building process to be applied to all Spanish tourist areas; b) to apply this process to the development of a functioning tourist resort, on a 10 hectare site outside Malaga, with 112,000m2 of construction at the end of seven years; c) to apply the process to a 10 hectare sector of an existing tourist community.
