Christopher Alexander gave the keynote address with the heading “I am a Dreamer”, on the 3-Jun Plenary Session, scheduled between 8:00 am and 9:45 am. He was introduced by Hank Dittmar, Chief Executive of The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment. He also gave a seminar on 2-Jun, scheduled between 10:00am and 11:00 am on “Unfoldings: The building Blocks of Living Neighborhoods”. Furthermore, the Center for Environmental Structure was one of the CNU XIV exhibitors, presenting its recent work on “generative codes” and the development process. Alexander’s built work was featured, along with books and handouts.
