09/09/1990 to 16/09/1990Christopher Alexander was a trustee in the Prince of Wales Institute of Architecture and participated in a program to promote the Prince of Wales’ principles of architecture to its students. The program focused on developing the connection between design, construction, and craft, with attention to the timeless approaches to design, planning, building and the surrounding environment. He participated in an eight-day seminar/studio with Jules Lubbock and Leon Krier, organized for a group of students in Italy, dealing with the nature of order as the foundation of a new architecture.
