23/10/1967Discussion begins with pattern descriptions and the need to fulfill the five conditions required for the validity of a pattern. Three conditions are concerned with empirical validity and two are concerned with usefulness, as elements of a language. Several examples of how to prove out these conditions as necessities are given.
