The two conditions (four and five) concerned with the usefulness of a pattern are introduced, detailed and then examples provided of how the two are intertwined and required. Further shown are how the requirements for a pattern must be clarified. Sub-patterns are discussed. A street and highway pattern is introduced and detailed.
