Student Work, Paper

14-page paper presenting the rudimentary ideas of a computer program emulating the ‘decision-making ability of a human expert’ which could be used as a design-tool implementing a pattern language formulated by the user. Patterns developed are relating to specific environmental contexts. All possible relationships between patterns are governed by generative rules which could finally produce a 3-dimansional architectural design. Flaws and current limitations of system are outlined; sent for feedback by Christopher Alexander.
