2-sided cassette tape of the third Fall semester lecture by Christopher Alexander. The lecture starts with introduction to the “Unified Field of Centers” concept by Yodan Rofe through slide show preparing for Christopher Alexander’s lecture and discussions with the students about “The 10,000 Mirrors of the Self” chapter. The image of the Chinese brass horse is used, analyzing in detail each individual center composing it. The complexity involved when we create living things at any scale using the personal criterion of the “I” is the main concept which must be understood. The questions of students are addressed in detail at the end.
