Fourteen large boards illustrating the Master Planning Process based on four guiding elements: “Pattern Language”, “Diagnosis”, “Projects” and “Procedure”. The fourteen boards include: 1) A New Kind of Planning Process: introductory overview; 2) The Pattern Language: explaining the function of patterns; 3) Patterns: list of patterns chosen and summaries; 4) Diagnosis: detecting the areas in need of improvement; 5) Projects: carrying out acts of improvements through projects; 6) Procedure; 7) Town Growth for 1973: maps with gradual improvement of town; 8) Neighborhoods: users designing the neighborhoods; 9) Repair of Existing Area: users repairing an area; 10) Public Building: users design a small public building; 11) Apartment Building: users designing an apartment unit; 12) Cluster of Houses: group of twelve families designing the common land between houses and houses; 13) One Individual House: family designing their own house; 14) This is Your Choice: why following this process is more preferable.
